Fees & Payment Information

Bridgewell Cognitive Health is a private pay psychological practice providing evidence-based therapy, consultation, and psychological assessment services for teens, adults, and families. The practice does not participate as an in-network provider with insurance companies.

This model allows care to remain individualized, clinically appropriate, and free from the limitations often imposed by insurance-based treatment.

Private Pay Model

As a private pay practice:

Payment is due at the time of service. Bridgewell Cognitive Health does not bill insurance directly. Services are not subject to insurance session limits, diagnostic restrictions, or treatment mandates. Clients have greater privacy and control over their care. Many clients choose private pay services to access specialized care, longer-term treatment options, and assessment services that are often difficult to obtain through insurance networks.

Superbills for Out-of-Network Reimbursement

Although Bridgewell Cognitive Health does not accept insurance, superbills are provided upon request. A superbill is a detailed receipt that clients may submit to their insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on individual plan benefits.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Contacting their insurance provider directly

  • Verifying out-of-network mental health benefits

  • Submitting superbills independently

Reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by insurance plan.

Therapy Fees

Therapy session fees reflect advanced training, specialization, and evidence-based care.

Session frequency is determined collaboratively based on clinical needs and goals. Many clients begin with weekly sessions to establish momentum and consistency.

Psychological Testing and Assessment Fees

Psychological assessments are comprehensive, time-intensive services designed to provide clarity, accurate diagnosis, and practical recommendations. Each evaluation includes multiple components—clinical interviews, standardized testing, scoring, interpretation, and a detailed written report—completed by a licensed psychologist.

Because of the scope and level of expertise involved, assessment services are offered on a private-pay basis. Superbills are available for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement.

What’s Included in an Assessment

All assessment packages typically include:

  • Comprehensive clinical intake and history

  • Standardized psychological and/or neuropsychological measures

  • Careful scoring, interpretation, and diagnostic formulation

  • A detailed written report suitable for schools, workplaces, or personal use

  • A feedback session to review results and recommendations

The specific tests and timeline are tailored to the referral question and individual needs.

Assessment Fees

Psychological assessment is billed based on total clinical time at a rate of $200 per hour. This includes intake, test administration, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback.

Because assessment needs vary, final fees are confirmed after the intake session, once referral questions and scope are clear. Most evaluations fall within the estimated ranges below.

ADHD Evaluation (Estimated Range: 10–12 clinical hours)

  • A focused evaluation assessing attention, executive functioning, and related concerns, with individualized recommendations for treatment or accommodations.

Learning Disorder / Psychoeducational Evaluation: (Estimated Range:12-14 clinical hours)

  • Comprehensive evaluation assessing cognitive abilities and academic skills (e.g., reading, writing, math). Commonly used for diagnostic clarification, academic planning, and accommodation support.

Autism Evaluation (Estimated Range: 14–16 clinical hours)

  • Developmentally informed evaluation designed for individuals seeking clarity around autism spectrum identification, including high-masking and late-diagnosed presentations.

Complex or Differential Diagnostic (Clinical hours varies)

  • Used when multiple diagnostic questions are present (e.g., ADHD and autism, learning differences, or overlapping conditions). Final fees are determined after the intake session based on clinical complexity.
