Meet the Psychologist
Dr. Nyla Harris, Psy.D. – Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Rockwall, Texas
Bridgewell Cognitive Health is led by Dr. Nyla Harris, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist in Rockwall, Texas, providing evidence-based therapy and comprehensive psychological assessment for anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, Autism, and neurodivergent experiences across adolescence and adulthood
As a neurodivergent psychologist, Dr. Harris recognized early in clinical practice that many traditional therapy models are not consistently adapted to how neurodivergent brains process information, regulate emotion, and respond to stress. Bridgewell Cognitive Health was founded to provide care that is both clinically rigorous and thoughtfully tailored, integrating evidence-based treatment with a neurodivergent-affirming framework.
Background
Dr. Harris has practiced across specialty anxiety and OCD settings, medical and neuropsychological settings, university counseling centers, and community-based clinical settings, bringing an integrated, evidence-based perspective to the treatment of anxiety, neurodivergence, and complex or co-occurring clinical presentations across diverse populations.
This breadth of experience allows Dr. Harris to approach anxiety, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, and relational concerns with clinical precision, flexibility, and a deep understanding of how these challenges present across different life stages and systems of care.
